National Profile

Hershwell

Est. 2022

History

Hershwell was founded on July 3, 2022, through the "Treaty of Unification" signed by Otto Wang of the Hemir Empire and Justin Tsai of the Principality of Rushwell, along with Eric Yin and Ching-Yiu Lim. This treaty unified the two nations, with Otto Wang becoming Prince Otto I and Justin Tsai appointed as Provisional Consul.

Political Structure

Hershwell operates as a principality, with Prince Paul I as the head of state, and Prime Minister Justin Tsai as the head of government.

According to the Constitution, the Prince holds a certain degree of sovereign power, particularly evident in policy recommendations and the issuance of Privy Council Orders. As a result, the Prince is always actively involved in politics. Since the unification, Justin Tsai has been in power for two consecutive years. The second-in-command is former Prince Otto I, who has quickly established his position in Hershwell's political arena since taking over the Home Ministry last September.

Diplomacy

From its inception, Hershwell has prioritized active diplomatic engagement. The principality continues the legacy of its founders by fostering strong relationships with other micronations and international entities. Hershwell's diplomatic efforts focus on promoting mutual understanding, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, aiming to be a leading voice in the micronational community.

Culture

Hershwell is committed to cultural enrichment, drawing from the diverse traditions and histories of its founding regions. The unification has created a unique cultural blend that emphasizes harmony and shared values. Cultural development is a cornerstone of Hershwell's identity, with ongoing initiatives to celebrate and integrate the rich heritage of its people.

Vision

Hershwell is dedicated to building a unified, culturally rich, and diplomatically active nation. By focusing on governance, cultural development, and international cooperation, Hershwell aspires to be a beacon of unity and progress within the micronational community.
